"Storytelling" And Disney Documentary Film Creation

This paper mainly through the study of Disney's animal documentaries,such as "The Story of Flamingo","Monkey Kingdom","Bear World" and so on,interprets the characteristics of Disney's wildlife documentaries' storytelling creation,and explores the characteristics and rules of Disney's documentary films' storytelling creation from two aspects of story construction and image expression.This paper mainly uses literature research method,text research method and comparative research method to explore the characteristics of Disney documentary film's storytelling creation from different perspectives.The following is a brief summary of the structure of this paper:the introduction mainly discusses the starting point and significance of the topic selection from five parts: the background of the topic selection,the significance and purpose of the topic selection,the research trends at home and abroad,research methods and innovations.Next,the first chapter gives a brief introduction to Disney Nature,a new documentary production department,and its works.At the same time,it explores the reasons for its storytelling creation characteristics from different perspectives.Starting from the second chapter,this paper begins to make a detailed interpretation of its storytelling creation strategy.The second chapter mainly carries out a specific analysis from the level of story construction.At the level of story content,this paper mainly interprets Disney documentary films from the selection of materials,the setting of characters,the design of plots,and the expression of themes.On the narrative level,this paper mainly discusses how Disney interprets the story of the animal world ups and downs,full of storytelling and entertainment,from the perspective and perspective choice,suspense,conflict,rhythm and other elements of ingenious use,narrative time reconstruction,classical closed structure.The third chapter mainly discusses how Disney constructs the story world of Disney's films from the perspective of image expression and audio-visual.In this chapter,we mainly interpret it from two aspects: image modeling and story-telling,sound modeling and story-telling.In the aspect of image modeling and story-telling,we mainlydiscuss some special shots and film editing.The application of montage technique is analyzed concretely.On the level of sound modelling and storytelling,the three main sound elements,music,sound and commentary,are mainly analyzed.The author hopes that we pay attention to the current situation and some shortcomings of the same type of films created by ourselves,and explore their reference and innovation,so as to promote the development of this type of films in our country.Let more audiences enter the cinema,starting from their interests,to consciously become the guardian of the ecological environment.Let more people put aside their posture,take care of all things under the sky with an equal perspective,constantly reflect on their own behavior,and realize that the contradiction between human beings and animals,human beings and nature,human society and natural ecological environment needs urgent attention and solution.
