The western film of China was originated from the famous film theorist Zhong Dianfei,The western area has attracted many film creators with its exotic culture and national culture,and it has create a classic film period in the 20 th century.As a western movie that has entered the mainstream cultural market in the world,it has a bright future in promoting the development of western film in the future.In the new era,the narration of the western film is different in the artistic interest and narrative style because of the different experiences of the directors.There is no shortage of the strong sense of urgency to the bottom people which are characterized by the fourth generation of filmmakers'.Following the principles of documentary aesthetics,they want to show people's confused and helpless life at the bottom,but they still have not got rid of the "shadowing" stage of the film language;there is also a fifth-generation filmmaker who use the new film language to combine the styling consciousness,cultural consciousness and aesthetic consciousness into a mirror narration.And reflection means the development of the spiritual world of the bottom people,completing the "image" stage of the film language.They all tirelessly pursue the localization of national films.By putting the western bottom society in the historical context,they try to reflect their strong humanistic care,the historical national spirit and ideological connotation with human beings as the core to achieve essential,philosophical meditation.This thesis attempts to study and examine the western film in the new era in the perspective of the bottom narration and takes the western film text into a new era,which focus on the case study,the combination of history and theory,and the mirrored spatial narration to the western movie of the new era.This thesis makes a microscopic analysis to provide some inspiration for the sustainable development of western movies.The first chapter of this thesis mainly expounds the related concepts of the narrative referents in the western movie.So far,there is no such thing as a "film event" in the history of western movies.Some people say that it has completed the film,some say it already becomes a prototype,and others say it is just a movie genre.This paper clarifies the concept of western film from the new dimension of westernfilm's connotation and mechanism.The second chapter makes a close reading of the classic works in the new period,and explores the narrative aesthetic features from the historical and cultural contexts.The third chapter combining the spatial narrative theory to analyze the Western film's enlightenment and confirmation of subject consciousness under the representation of imagery,which are aimed to find the change of the individual's emotional spirit in the transformation of ages by researching the Western culture and the Western spirit.The fourth chapter uses this research topic to give the strategic interpretation of Western movie in the future.
