Study On Su Shi's Historical Comments

As a generation of literary masters,Su Shi has achieved high achievements in the fields of poetry,Ci poetry,or prose,and has profound influence on the literature of the time and the descendants.Under the special background of the era of the Song Dynasty,Su Shi became famous for his scientific research and writing,and became the object of the scholars competing to learn and imitate,especially the merits of judging the history and commenting on the historical articles of historical figures.This paper starts with the prose form,and takes Su Shi's historical comment as the research object to explore Su Shi's personal thought and the characteristics of his writing and its influence.The article has four major parts.The introduction part mainly introduces the reason of this paper,the research status of Su Shi's historical comment and the research ideas of this paper.The first chapter discusses the development of historical papers and the background of Su Shi's thesis.In the early days,the history comment was mainly created by Shi Chen in the compilation of the history books.Later,the literati began to create historical monographs independent of the history books.The Su Shi's historical comments are typical representatives of the literati historical comments in their heyday.Su Shi's extensive writing historical comments are closely related to other factors such as the "suspicion of ancient thoughts" in the Northern Song Dynasty,the reform of the imperial examination system,and the ancient Chinese movement.The second chapter discusses the ideological content of Su Shi's historical comments.Su Shi's life was rich in thoughts.However,in some of his early works,Confucianism dominated,mainly in his pursuit of “German” political ideals,emphasis on moral cultivation,and questioning Taoist thoughts.Meanwhile,Su Shi's thesis also contains the historical thoughts and orthodox historical views of "taking history as a mirror".The third chapter studies the writing characteristics of Su Shi's thesis and its influence.The writing perspective of Su Shi's historical comments isnovel,the argument is free,the language is simple and clear,and it is highly respected by future generations.At the same time,Su Shi's creation of such historical papers has caused a lot of controversy from time to time.On the one hand,scholars accept the expression methods in Su Shi's historical comments.On the other hand,the speculations on historical events in Su Shi's historical comments are criticized.By analyzing the ideological content and writing characteristics of Su Shi's historical comments,it can explain the influence brought by Su Shi's historical comments.Combining the relevant historical background and other author's evaluation of Su Shi's historical comments can provide reference for the study of Su Shi's historical comments and writing characteristics.
