Cultural words are the quintessence of Chinese vocabulary.They are effective ways for foreign students to acquire and improve Chinese cultural knowledge and cross-cultural communicative competence,and their status in TCFL is not to be underestimated.In the teaching of Chinese as a second language,grammar teaching and its research are paid more attention and attention,while vocabulary teaching and its research are relatively weak.As an important part of Chinese vocabulary,cultural vocabulary teaching needs more attention and research.Mind mapping,as an effective teaching tool,has been proved to be effective in English teaching in practice.However,in teaching Chinese as a foreign language,the application of mind mapping to empirical research is almost absent.The purpose of this paper is to explore the application of mind mapping in the teaching of Chinese cultural words as a foreign language,and to verify its effectiveness in teaching Chinese as a foreign language and cultural words through specific teaching practices.This research mainly adopts three research methods: interview method,questionnaire method and experiment method.34 foreign students in a mixed class of International Education College of a university were selected as the research object.The experiment lasted for four months.Through the analysis of interview data,questionnaire data and cultural words test data,the following findings were obtained:(1)Mind mapping was applied to Chinese as a foreign language.Cultural vocabulary teaching can improve students' interest in learning and actively participate in classroom interaction;(2)Compared with traditional cultural vocabulary teaching methods,the application of mind mapping in cultural vocabulary teaching mode has more advantages in cultural vocabulary recognition,reproduction and enlargement of foreign students' Chinese vocabulary;Compared with new lessons,it can use thinking guidance in review lessons.Maps are more effective;(3)The application of mind mapping in the teaching of Chinese cultural words as a foreign language can help students establish a system of Chinese cultural words.The paper is divided into five parts:The first part is the introduction,which mainly introduces the research background,research content,research methods,research significance,and summarizes the related research.The second part is the theoretical basis,introducing the mind map and its characteristics,and defining and classifying cultural words.The third part is the teaching experiment,which introduces the experimental purpose,experimental hypothesis,experimental objects,experimental methods,experimental time and experimental process,and introduces a new lesson case teaching and a review lesson case teaching.The fourth part is the analysis of teaching validity,which verifies the validity of mind mapping in cultural vocabulary teaching,and further explains the experimental results.The concluding part combs,summarizes and summarizes the content of this article.
