The Chinese diet culture is broad and profound, and the word "eat" is beyond count in Chinese, its causes and the main mode of production is closely related to agriculture, China since ancient times is agriculture-based, dependent on the weather, as the so-called " man eats by nature ", for a long time, The food problem has been the major problems that affecting stability of Chinese ancient political situation. It is also the people’s livelihood issues of that be common concerned. Therefore, Chinese "Eat" culture on people’s thinking、psychological impact is far-reaching, The influence in the form of outside refraction to the language vocabulary of the daily life, that’s why there are so large number of "eat" word vocabulary in Chinese.This paper is on the basis of previous studies, based on cognitive linguistics, lexicology, cultural linguistics and other related disciplines theory as the foundation, the "Modern Chinese Dictionary" in the "eat+X" form of vocabulary as the research object, purposefully reference corpus and related books、materials, efforts to tap "eat+X" vocabulary contains the deep cultural connotation, and research from both theoretical and practical aspects.This paper is divided into four parts, the first part is the introduction, it points out the significance of the topic, research methods and questionnaires.The second part mainly expounds the "eat+X" vocabulary the implication of the Chinese culture, which is the main content of this paper. The author starts to research from the word-formation "eat+X", analysis the causes of a large number of "eat" words in Chinese vocabulary, the vocabulary of "eat" cultural’s meaning and spiritual value.The third part is mainly based on Teaching Chinese as a foreign language, which is from the point of view of the Chinese as a second language teaching "eat+X" vocabulary teaching methods, types of errors, and puts forward some suggestions for Chinese teaching method for such vocabulary, to carry out "eat" the culture of discussion and practice course. The fourth part is the conclusion, focuses on this paper’s shortcomings, as well as the author’s thinking and suggestions.
