Phantom,religion,magic,and sorcery all intersect,but it has its own system.There are many phenomena of art and culture in ancient Chinese fic tion,from Wei jin 7hiwei novel,Tang I egend,Song Huaben novel to Ming and Qing Chapter Hui novel,which are mainly manifested in the fact that acquaintances observe faces of various characters to predict their fate,and this kind of plot often becomes zan important guide to the development of novel stories.There are two basic narrative modes of ancient novel phantom:tho thooryo tf predestination and the theory of virtue and conduct.The main narrative techniques are flat and direct narrative and anaphoric The role of Xiangshu plot in ancient novel creation is mainly manifested in four aspects:first,it is helpful to portray ideal character image in the aspect of character image shaping;second,in the aspect of plot structure,it is helpful to penetrate plot and enhance the ups and downs of the novel;third,in the aspect of education,it shows the theme of"virtue changes destiny";fourth,in the aspect of aesthetics,it expresses tragic connotation through the concept of destiny.The strong existence of Xiangshu culture in ancient Chinese fiction is mainly due to the social basis of fatalistic culture,the self-demand of novel creation and the self-comfort of the novelist.Ancient novels enrich the ideological and cultural connotations and add strange aesthetic features because of the plots related to xiangshu,and Xiangshu has a better communication because of the spread of novel,which forms an interactive relationship between the two.
