Study On Music Historical Materials Of Bi Ji Man Zhi

A book from Wang Zhuo named The Record of Music from Bi-Ji,which involved academic issues such as music,dance,drama,acoustic poetry and Song ci in the Tang and Song dynasties.The Record of Music from Bi-ji is an important music literature,the book provide us amount of precious material about music in Tang and Song dynasty.Most of researchers on Bi Ji Man Zhi mainly focuses on the discussion of Wang Zhuo's literary thought,modern scholars quote the content of The Record of Music from Bi-ji in varying degrees.The importance attached to it by researchers fully proves its importance in the study of Ci.However,it is a pity that modern researchers are only limited in lyric texts,which rarely can be combined with its music attribute.Of course,there are objective reasons for this situation,such as the loss of the notations and the inability to read it.We should admit that the study of Ci which forced us to break away from its tune is incomplete.Therefore,this kind of close combination of music to study these songs method is undoubtedly comprehensive.The paper aimed to explore the evolution of these songs and lyrics in the Tang and Song dynasties by analyzing and evaluating the value of this music literature.This paper consists of five parts: The introduction briefly describes the background and significance of the topic,the current research situation and research methods.The first chapter is Wang Zhuo's life and work.The second chapter is the research of Ci and music of The Record of Music from Bi-ji.The third chapter is the research of Ci-poetry origin of The Record of Music from Bi-ji.The conclusion summarizes the full text,discusses and carries on the historical appraisal.
