| As an emerging industry with both cultural and industrial attributes,animation industry has achieved significant economic and social benefits in some leading countries.Since the beginning of the 21 st century,under the guidance of the government and policy support,China’s animation industry has developed rapidly,surpassing Japan to become the world’s largest animation production country.As an important subject engaged in animation industry,animation enterprises have the characteristics of large number of enterprises and increasing contribution to industry year by year,but there are problems of insufficient economic contribution and weak management ability.Existing literature mainly discuss the problems of animation industry chain and other production links,and seldom discuss the problems related to the business model innovation from the perspective of animation enterprises themselves.From the observation in the field of practice,it is found that animation enterprises pay more attention to the rapid development of enterprises through business model innovation.The research field of business model innovation is constantly enriched,which lays the foundation of this research.But the current research mainly focuses on the evolution of the business model,innovation,design,implementation,control and operation,and pay more attention to the positive influence to the enterprise business model innovation,and business model innovation as a kind of hindsight,few studies have focused on an antecedent of the business model,which causes enterprise to carry on the business model innovation?How do these factors affect business model innovation?These questions get clear answer,will be helpful to display the theory research to the enterprise practice instruction function.Based on existing theory results,this research focus from anime enterprise business model innovation before due to the factors and mechanism study of two aspects:The first part of the research is to clarify the animation business model innovation factors.This research adopts the research method of grounded theory,through theoretical sampling,data collection and coding analysis,to explore the factors leading to the business model innovation of animation enterprises.This study choose samples of six animation company from China,Japan and USA : The Walt Disney Company,TOEI ANIMATIONCO.LTD.,Aofei Entertainment CO.LTD,Beijing Ruoshen digital technology CO.LTD,TENCENT COMIC and Shandong expo anime media CO.LTD,get 132 concepts and further formation of 32 initial categories,12 main categories,3 Core categories.Through further analysis of the relationship between the categories,six propositions are drawn.The second part aims to construct the mechanism of the antecedents of business model innovation.This part adopts the grounded theory research,through the study of the induction and summary of former for elements,combined with all the root of the result,before the animation enterprise business model innovation by factor analysis,the mechanism of action under the two restriction and drive force,induce animation enterprise business model innovation of two kinds of different paths,namely,by inside and outside the initiative innovation path,by inside and outside the initiative innovation path,so as to build the animation enterprise business model innovation before because of the mechanism of action.Its core logic is:,external driving factors,under the joint action of animation enterprise leaders meet the needs of the business model innovation,active resource configuration and structure adjustment,develop new profit model,follow the policy system,transfer the value network of complementary assets,the development of new technology paradigm,and new market opportunities,to achieve business model innovation;At the same time,external factors will promote the development of the threat to the business model prototype reversed transmission enterprises respond to restricting factors,take measures to make up the lack of resources,break through the enterprise business model prototype,constantly collide with the restriction factor,feedback and interaction,so as to adjust their structure,and finally form the business model innovation.The possible innovation of this study lies in that it selects the business model of animation enterprises with digital content creation as the production mode and non-physical products as the main output form as the research object to expand and enrich the research field and results of the business model.Focusing on the antecedents and action mechanisms of business model innovation and analyzing the factors restricting and driving business model innovation from the perspective of functions,it opens up the “black box” in the process of business model innovation to some extent and makes up for the chaotic state of the research on antecedents of business model innovation. |
