Research On Gao Jianfu's Art Thought And Creation In His Later Years

As a pioneer of reforms in Chinese painting in the 20 th century,Gao Jianfu devoted his life to pursuing the "eclectic" reform ideals of Chinese and Western paintings and creating popular art.However,the thoughts and styles of the later years have suddenly changed: from the creation of "popular art" to the literati's ink drama that emphasizes "focus on inner performance";the realistic paintings of the light and shadow perspectives of learning from the paintings in the painting have become the meaning of "the meaning of heavy ink" painting.This article is devoted to the study of the reasons why Gao Jianfu's thoughts and styles changed suddenly in his later years,thus digging deep into the neglected Gao Jian's artistic achievements in his later years.Through analyzing the art works of Gao Jianfu's later years,the article finds that Gao Jianfu's understanding of literati paintings is very thorough in his later years.He has a great understanding of the temperament and the use of ink and brush..On this basis,the innovations and reforms of the title and seal were also carried out,reflecting the quality of the literati in a new era.Gao Jian's father is placed in the historical background,focusing on the subjective and objective reasons to explore the transformation of his thoughts.Next,under the influence of Gao Jianfu and Zen,the relationship between Zen and literati painting was explored and it was found that this is also an important reason for Gao Jian's return to tradition.Comparing the evolution of the artistic process of Dong Qichang and Huang Binhong and other painters,it shows that Gao Jian's thought transformation in his later years also follows an artistic law from the ancients,the teacher to the teacher,and the artistic achievements of Gao Jian's later years.There is no recession but a return to traditional literati painting.In this article,we can have a comprehensive understanding of Gao Jianfu's artistic process from the thought to the creation of the whole age,which leads to the value of Gao Jianfu's artistic achievements in his later years.
