There are many remains of Buddhist temple statues in Shanxi Province. At present, the colorful statues of Buddhist temples in Shanxi Province can be traced back to the Tang Dynasty. The continuous development of later generations makes Shanxi colorful.Fujiji Temple, also known as Fuji Temple, was listed as the sixth batch of cultural relics protection units in the country in 2006.It was built in the Northern Han Dynasty for nine years, and later Song,Yuan,Ming and Qing dynasties have been repaired. Now there are only three temples in the main hall of the building. There are 9 colored sculptures in the temple(originally 10,1lost)The east and west walls are painted with murals of the Eastern Three Saints and the Western Three Saints.Due to the reconstruction and the repeated restoration of Buji Temple, the age of the nine statues in the temple is still uncertain, and the research on the color sculpture of Buji Temple is almost blank. The author has studied the characteristics and forms of the color image through the field investigation. The backlit image is analyzed and compared with other Buddhist temples by imagery and stylistic methods.Through the analysis of the combination of color-shaping and image forms,it is inferred that it mainly inherits the imagery form since the Tang Dynasty, and the analysis of the characteristics of the statues, styles and costumes, etc.,believes that the temple color painting basically maintains the style of the Song and Jin Dynasties,on the other hand A brief discussion of the backlit contents of the Sakyamuni Buddha image suggests that it was more plastic in the Ming Dynasty, thus judging its age.In the writing of this article, the re-cultivation of Buji Temple and the era and content of Buddhism were sorted out to clarify the development of the era of Buji Temple, and combined with the analysis of the image of Buji Temple andthe backlight of Sakyamuni Buddha. To explore the factors that influence the shaping of the temple.
