With the opening of the two-child policy,the structure of many families has changed,and many children have changed from the only child to the non-only child.The change of family structure will lead to the change of children’s growing environment to a great extent,and family education will also change.The change of family education environment will affect children’s physical and mental development to a certain extent.Self-concept is an important aspect of children’s development,so it is necessary to study the self-concept of current only children and non-only children.Based on document literature and questionnaire7this paper conducts analysis on the difference in self-concept of the only children and non-only children in the preschool education process.The conclusions are as follows:1.The current self-concept of the preschoolers is in the medium level and above;2.There is a difference in self-concept of the only children and non-onlv children.On the whole,the difference mainly lies in cognition ability,companion acceptance,teacher acceptance and overall self-concept,moreover,the non-only children are significantly higher than the only children in these aspects.3.In terms of gender variables,the self-concept of non-only children is significantly better than that of only children in terms of peer acceptance and teacher acceptance.The self-concept of non-only children in public kindergartens is better than that of only children,mainly in the dimension of teacher acceptance.In private kindergartens,it is embodied in the dilensions of cognitive ability,peer acceptance,and teacher acceptance.In the variables of parental education,the self-concept of non-only children is significantly better than that of only children mainly in the dimensions of cognitive ability,peer acceptance and teacher acceptance.Combined with actual situation,the following sugsestions are proposed:the parents ot the only children should center on cultivating the children ’ s self-concept;the kindergarten should strengthen the comprehensive self-concept ability cultivation of the children,constantly enhance the cognition ability of the teachers and parents;the parents and the teachers should pay attention to promoting self-cognition of the children;the parents and the kindergartens should cooperate well to jointly enhance the self-concept of the children.
