In the history of the 27 th year of the Northern Qi Dynasty,Buddhist affairs flourished, and large-scale engraving activities appeared, resulting in a large number of engravings, both from the perspective of Buddhism and from the perspective of calligraphy. The main cliff carvings include two Hongding engravings, the sacred palace engraving, the Xiangtangshan engraving, and the four mountain engravings. The engraving of the Xiangtangshan Grottoes is part of the rich and well-preserved contents of the grottoes in the Southern and Northern Dynasties in China. The books are mostly Lishu, which basically reflects the characteristics of Beiqi's writing of Lishu as the main calligraphy body. The biggest feature of the Xiangtangshan Lishu scripture is that it is written in the shackles of the shackles, with the pen and the circle in mind, without major ups and downs, and the gestures are stable and less open, which is the spiritual essence of the integration of the sect.Although there are many studies on the carving of the Xiangtang Mountain, most of them are mainly based on the content of the carvings, the causes, and the distribution of the scriptures. The general description of the sounding of the Xiangtang Mountain is not fully introduced, and it is less Calligraphy perspective analysis of its source and artistic characteristics. Therefore, this article takes this as a starting point, sums up the general situation of the engraving of Xiangtangshan, and analyzes its calligraphy features and significance, and guides its creation.
