Information technology has had a great impact on education,so English teaching in junior high school faces new challenges.Forms and facilities of multimedia update quickly,and interactive multimedia teaching is gradually occupying the teaching class.However,how to use multimedia properly and flexibly,how to take advantage of interactive multimedia to arouse the enthusiasm of students in English learning,and finally improve the teaching result,is a new task constantly faced by most of the English teachers.This research is mainly intended to figure out how to use the interactive multimedia for assisting English teaching,and to explore all aspects of influence of interactive multimedia equipment in English teaching.English teachers face the problem that equipment has been installed,but they cannot apply them in their teaching designs flexibly.So this research is particularly important.We propose a framework of teaching,research and practice,finally analyze the data.Compared with the traditional multimedia,interactive multimedia not only emphasizes demonstration,but also pays more attention to students' input.Interactive multimedia adds the function of interaction to the traditional multimedia.Through the interaction and presenting in a variety of sensory information,the learners can see,hear even touch,feel,smell and they can also interact with these functions.According to these features of interactive multimedia,this study mainly focuses on the following issues:1.How to create an English learning situation with interactive multimedia?2.How to use interactive multimedia to demonstrate teaching materials vividly?3.How to use interactive multimedia to communicate effectively between teachers and students?4.How to make better use of interactive multimedia to create independent learning conditions?This paper selects action research method,questionnaire survey method and classroom observation method.Based on second graders in junior high school,this paper focuses on the auxiliary role of interactive multimedia in English listening,vocabulary,reading and synthesis,as well as its influence on English performance.Centering on the above key points and problems of the research,this study carried out teaching experiments and designed a control class and an experimental class.Regular teaching was conducted seprately with or without the help of interactive multimedia.And questionnaires for teachers and students are collected seprately.I collected and analyzed the students' English learning performance regularly,so as to obtain the experimental data and analyze experimental results.Through the research,it is found that the interactive multimedia teaching method can be applied to junior middle school English teaching,and students can learn together under the network environment.Through the special environment created by multimedia,students can communicate and discuss with classmates and teachers at any time,solve problems,share ideas and present achievements.This paper puts forward the teaching design framework and analyzes the positive and negative effects on junior middle school English performance.At the same time,I made a city-level research on flipped classroom in junior middle school English,in which interactive multimedia should be widely used.With interactive multimedia as a starting point,this paper discusses how the interactive multimedia auxiliaries junior middle school English teaching.Although there are some problems with interactive multimedia,it also provides a good teaching vision for junior middle school English teaching.This paper studied the problems,adjusts the position of multimedia assisted English teaching.I summarize the experience of predecessors,combine computer and English teaching together in this paper.That is really efficient and practical.This study is helpful to promote the effective application of interactive multimedia technology in teaching,promote the development of the discipline integration,give full play to the technological advantage,let the students'learning,teachers'teaching more colorful.Let interactive multimedia be an interesting and useful tool.
