Three Questions On The Geography Of Xixia Mountains And Rivers

Combining historical materials,local chronicles,notes collections,Jinshi literature,maps,etc.,the basic issues of the three mountains and rivers in Xixia,such as the history of the name,the geographical scope,and the historical events of the military walled village,were sorted out.Divided into three chapters:The first chapter is the Xingwei City and the Xingwei mountain.Xingwei early called Xinwei in the history literature of the Yuan Dynasty;probably the "Xingweichengshuitou" in the Ming grew out of the Xinweitun in the Yuan.The Xingwei city had been recorded as a site of the Xixia not in Xixia History in the era of Daoguang,but in Hetao Annals in 1742.In the Ming and Qing annals,the location of the Xingwei City and Mountain was away from Ningxiazhen 70 kilometers southwest.May it was wrong.ln fact.the Xingwei Mountain was away from the Ningxiazhen 120 kilometers.Because of its huge shape and important strategic role,the Xingwei Mountain became a great geographic coordinate together with the Helan Mountain.,The Xingwei City was away from the Ningxiazhen 90 kilometers at least,and it belonged to the Xixia undoubtedly.However,it had not direct relation with the Tang's Dingyuanjun.At present,there is not any envidence to prove the Xingwei city is the "jianjunsi of the North"recorded in Tiansheng Law.The second chapter is Weijing Mountain and WeiJing Plain.However,Weijing Mountain is now Weijing Mountain Before Xixia was preparing to establish a country,Li Yuanhao was stationed in the Weijing Mountain area in the south of the Yellow River to seek the Northern Song Dynasty.In the late Northern Song Dynasty,the courtiers entered the ship and marched down the river to capture the Xixia.Finally,due to the geographical factors of Weijing Mountain.However,Weijing Mountain has written Weijingshan and Weijing Mountain in the historical materials,all of which are in the same place.It is located in the Weidun Mountain-Xiang Mountain at the junction of the northeast of Jingyuan County in Gansu Province and the southwest of Ningxia Zhongwei.WeiJing Plain is the only one in the name of Weijing Mountain,between Weijing Mountain and Hasi Mountain,which is now Suohuang Plain in the northeast of Jingyuan County,Baiyin City,Gansu Province.In the period of Zhezong of the Northern Song Dynasty,after defeating Xixia,he immediately proposed to defend the frontier defense in Weijing Plain.The third chapter is the Puluo River and Lingzhou Plain.The Puluo River is now Pule River.In the Tang Dynasty,it was called Anle River.In Song Dynasty,it was also called Lingzhou Plain's River.Later,it was also known as Shanshui River.Nowadays,there are two sources,which are flowing into the Yellow River in the north of the Luo Mountain River.Xixia and the Northern Song Dynasty repeatedly broke out in the Puluo River.Xixia took advantage of the Northern Song Dynasty to win the land.The Northern Song Dynasty courtiers repeatedly wrote the Pule City defence Xixia,but ultimately failed.Lingzhou Plain is the plain's Road of Lingzhou to Qingyuan Jun in the Northern Song Dynasty and Xixia Period.There are many cities and towns in succession.Lingzhou Plain passes through the Hanhai,and the Plain is straight,in the east of Puluo River.Another Anle Plain,also known as Anzhou Plain,is the source of the Puluo River.
