A Collection And Study On The Discussions And Comments Of Northern Song Dynasty’s Ministers About Xixia Dynasty

Xixia Dynasty states in the west of our country nearly two hundred years (1038-1227), and at the same time there were Liao Dynasty (916—1125) and Northern Song Dynasty(960—1127) and Jin Dynasty(1115—1234)and Southern Song Dynasty(1127—1279). But in Northern Song Dynasty, the number of discussions and comments about Xixia Dynasty written or spoken by the ministers is very big.This research focus on this and first talk about the number of them and now we know the number of the discussions is694(segments) and898comments which involving303historical figures, and I listed and classified them into some forms. Through the time arrangement we can see another history between northern song dynasty and Xixia Dynasty. This chapter also talk about the office postion of the ministers and then discusses the reason of the correct views have no great importance to the problem. Finally take the boundary problems as an example and discuss the gain and loss of the discussions and comments written or spoken by the ministers.
