HSK provides a great help for non-native Chinese learners in their daily life.Its effectiveness is increasingly recognized by people from all social circles.In recent years,the research on HSK has attracted great attention from scholars,but there is little comparison and analysis on HSK test and syllabus.Based on the theory of language test and error analysis,this paper makes a comparative analysis of HSK level 5 writing parts and syllabus,survey on writing test and interviews of examinees,so as to put forward suggestions on the improvement and preparation of the new HSK level 5 writing test.The preface mainly introduces the research background,purpose and significance,literature review,research content and methods,innovation,as well as the theoretical basis.The thesis is divided into three chapters.The first chapter is comparative analysis of HSK level 5 writing parts and syllabus.Firstly,it briefly introduces the question types and scoring standards of new HSK level 5 writing parts,then makes a comparative analysis with syllabus on ability,words,language points and topics.It is found that HSK level 5 writing test focuses on Chinese language knowledge,is consistent with the requirements of vocabulary outline and inconsistent with language points,comes from a single topic source.The second chapter is a survey of the new HSK level 5 writing test.According to the test results,students of intermediate or advanced Chinese proficiency easily make mistakes in sentence components and special sentence patterns on sentence completion.On essay writing,they have problems in grasping the theme and cohesive sentences.On Chinese characters,their typos are prominent,mainly due to the increase or decrease of strokes,wrong shapes,similar shapes and sounds.On the use of punctuation,they didn't write,missed writing,variant writing and misused punctuation.Based on the comparative analysis of the new HSK level 5 and syllabus,survey on writing test and interviews of examinees,the third chapter puts forward some suggestions on improving the HSK Level 5 writing test on question type setting,topic selection,scoring criteria,and puts forward some suggestions on completing sentences,essay writing,Chinese characters and using punctuation.
