John Fisher is one of the few Catholic bishops in the British religious reform who was executed against the supreme royal power of Henry VIII.He eventually became a Christian humanist because of the bathing of humanistic ideas from Europe.Facing the reality of the corruption of the Roman church and the impact of the various Protestant factions,he hoped to carry out top-down reforms from within the church, gradually purifying the evils and enabling the church to return to the pure state of primitive Christianity. From his thoughts and practice,it is not difficult to see that Fisher's purpose is to maintain the unity of the Catholic world,to correctly understand and evaluate Fisher's Christian humanism, and to help comprehensively grasp the era background of Tudor's British religious reform,it can help us clarify the relationship between Humanism and Religious Reform. The full text is divided into three parts:introduction, body and conclusion. The body part is divided into four chapters. The first chapter combs Fisher's life and his Christian humanistic ideas. The second chapter mainly expounds the main content of Fisher's humanistic thought. It mainly involves the doctrine of "returning to the origin",the traditional sacramental view, and the papal supreme view of the papal, trying to clarify the multi-dimensional ideological orientation embodied by its number of identities. The third chapter discusses the practice of Fisher's Christian humanism. In his early years,he devoted himself to the education of Cambridge and the transformation of the Rochester parish. With the prelude to the reform of religion,Fisher was actively engaged in the debate against Lutheranism and the struggle against the supreme royal power of Henry VIII,and finally defended his faith.Ramp.The fourth chapter analyzes the advantages and disadvantages of Fisher Christian humanism. His thoughts and practices promoted the development of British humanism and the purity of Christian faith, but on the one hand deviated from the trend of British nationalism, and eventually he was abandoned by the times.
