Study On The Relationship Between Parents' Negative Coping Styles And Aggressive Behavior Of Young Children

Aggressive behavior is an important part of developmental psychology.Children's aggressive behavior has an important influence on their personality and moral development.And children's aggressive behavior has a certain prediction of their future juvenile delinquency,it is necessary to study children's aggressive behavior and its influencing factors.Parents' coping styles to their children's negative emotions refer to their reactions when Children fall into negative emotional situations.This variable can describe various factors such as emotional environment,parental performance and so on witch has complex relationship with children's behavior.So we adopt the method of cluster sampling,randomly select 206 children as the research object,adopt the method of questionnaire survey to investigate the aggressive behavior of 3 to 5 years old children,parents and children's negative emotional coping style,and carry on the statistical analysis.The results show that:Firstly,there is no significant difference between parents' negative emotional coping style and aggressive behavior in grade,parental education and urban and rural areas.Secondly,girls' aggressive behavior is negatively correlated with 2 supportive dimensions of parents' emotional attention and problem concerning to children's negative emotional coping style,and positively correlated with 3 non-supportive dimensions of punishment,neglect and sadness.Boys ' aggressive behavior is positively correlated with neglect dimension of coping style,but not with other coping styles.Thirdly,the neglect dimension of parents' negative emotional coping style can positively predict boys' aggressive behavior,and the problem concern dimension of parents' negative emotional coping style can negatively predict girls' aggressive behavior.Fourthly,in view of the statistical results,we suggest that parents should respond positively to their children's negative emotions in their children's education,and guide them to deal with setbacks and conflicts correctly by example.
