Table Active "I Let You+ VP" Structure Study

This article takes the modern Chinese "table initiative ‘I let you + VP'” structure as the research object,for example: "I let you play and not to learn hard","I let you nonsense" and so on.On the basis of examining a large number of corpora,this paper makes a detailed analysis of the active "I let you + VP" structure.In addition to the introduction and conclusion,this article is mainly composed of three chapters.The first chapter starts from the internal description of structural linguistics and analyzes the semantics of each common item."I" obviously has a subjective color;"Let" is ostensibly allowed,actually opposed;"You cannot be replaced by a third person,otherwise it would become a declarative sentence;the syntactic restriction of the variable "VP" requires that only the controllable verb can enter the structure,and VP has subjective and objective negativity and causality.From the above components,the overall structure meaning is obtained,that is the table actively "I let you + VP"structure is mostly an imperative sentence,indicating a negative evaluation,often accompanied by blaming and punishment of language behavior.From the perspective of external pragmatics,the second chapter analyzes the pragmatic situational function and pragmatic subjective features of the active "I let you + VP" structure.This paper believes that the appearance of the table "I let you +VP" structure is a pragmatic situation,mainly to achieve the words of condemnation,warning threats and other functions.In addition,the structure has certain subjective characteristics,and the speaker will have certain presuppositions and evaluations.The third chapter analyzes the reasons and mechanisms of the initiative "I let you+ VP" structure.There are the following three aspects,the first is the diachronic investigation of "Let" and the synchronic inference;the second is the irony mechanism and positive Talk about it;the third are affirmative connection and difference to counter-question,.The semantic evolution of “let” makes “none” have a negative meaning.With the influence of many aspects of context,the degree of negation of “let” is deepened in steps.Sometimes,in order to take into account theface of the listener,the speaker consider a polite and affirmative expression.In addition,the form and meaning of language are not completely symmetrical.The new meaning of language is preserved in the original form,which is reflected in the structure of "I let you + VP".The meaning of implicit negation is implicitly positive.
