With the rapid development of the network and the widespread popularity of smart devices, the Internet has been integrated into daily life, which has led to the phenomenon of excessive network use. This kind of network overuse behavior is defined by researchers with different nouns, but the specific connotation can be attributed to the concept of internet addiction.Researchers have conducted many studies on the performance characteristics of internet addiction, addiction mechanisms, and neural mechanisms. However, the current experimental measurement of digital reading behavior for Internet addicts is relatively small, and there will be a large number of network activities.Text-based reading, text presentation and content have different effects on Internet addicts' reading performance. In addition,Whether Internet addicts can effectively invoke and maintain cognitive efforts when reading based on electronic devices needs to be further verified and explored in experiments. Therefore, this study uses digital judgment and text reading experiments to explore the mobilization of cognitive skills of Internet addicts and their specific performance in digital reading. This research may play an important role in improving the cognitive processing ability of Internet addicts and the intervention treatment of Internet addiction. In experiment 1,a total of 29 Internet addiction participants and 29 non-network addiction normal subjects completed a Chinese character numerical judgment task under high and low perceived fluency. There were two different stimuli-perceptual fluency(high Perceptual fluency, low perceived fluency)is used to explore effective calls for cognitive addicts of Internet addicts.Participants were asked to judge the meaning of the number of Chinese characters(such as six, seven, eight, etc.)on the screen under the condition of high and low perceived fluency. The experimental results showed that there were significant differences between the two groups in the response time and the correct rate of the digital judgment task. The response of the Internet addiction test under the condition of low perceptual fluency was significantly slower than that under the high perceptual fluency. However, the difference in the correct rate under the condition of high and low perceived fluency is not significant.Experiment 1 shows that under the condition of low perceptual fluency, although network addicts have the defects of cognitive processing ability compared with non-network addicts, they can effectively invoke cognitive efforts under the condition of low perceptual fluency. The correctness rate is consistent with the judgment of the response under the condition of high perceived fluency. In the study,a total of 30 Internet addiction participants and 27 normal subjects completed the reading task of text materials, using 2(group:Internet addiction group vs.normal group)×2(perceptual fluency:high perception fluency)Vs.low perceptual fluency)×2(network correlation:network-related text vs.network-independent text)three-factor hybrid design, through experiment one verification, perceptual fluency can call the cognitive efforts of network addicts, experiment Second, join the network correlation factors to explore the performance of web addicts'text reading under these two factors. The results were mainly found in three aspects:a.The reading efficiency of the internet addict experiment was significantly lower than that of the normal group, indicating that the internet addict showed impairment of reading ability in reading behavior;b.reading the network related text In the case of materials, the performance of the Internet addiction group was better than that of the network-independent text, which indicates that the network-related content can effectively stimulate the pattern of Internet addicts, mobilize their cognitive efforts and improve reading efficiency;c.The perceptual fluency of the text has a negative impact on the reading performance of Internet addicts. In summary,Internet addicts have the defects of cognitive processing ability, but they can also effectively invoke cognitive efforts through certain factors;and the internet addict's reading ability is flawed, but the network's network relevance factor can effectively improve its The level of cognitive effort in turn affects reading efficiency.Future research can expand the scope of the subjects, add neuropsychological measurements, and use a more complete experimental paradigm to expand the research on the performance of Internet addicts.
