Kazuo Ishiguro(1954—),a Japanese-born British novelist,is the person who was won the prize of 2017 Nobel Prize in Literature. Before he got this honor,Ishiguro Kazuo already had a high reputation in the world of European literary.Together with Rusidi and Naipaul,he is also known as "the British literary immigrants." Kazuo Ishiguro's novels subvert and revolutionize the model of traditional novels with the unique language, diverse narrative expressions, and highly individualistic styles. This thesis focuses on the seven novels that Kazuo Ishiguro has published, studies the style of Kazuo Ishiguro's novels from the following three aspects: language features, narrative structure and form type, trying to grasp the systematic characteristics of his novel style. This paper proposes that Kazuo Ishiguro has formed a unique personality style in the style of the novel. At the linguistic level,he used a large number of "suspension" languages,"irony language" and "descriptive language" to form the artistic effect of "speaking endlessly and significance infinitely." At the narrative level,he creatively used the unreliable narrative subject, the particular narrative perspective, the narrative means of narrative time and space, and formed a unique narrative personality. At the level of form,Kazuo Ishiguro has innovated and applied the types of novels such as the drama, diary, and fables,in order to subverting the traditional form of the novel.Kazuo Ishiguro's innovation in the style of the novel is one of his important contributions to the cause of human literature and art,and one of the reasons why his novel has been widely recognized.
