"National image rhetoric" is a rhetorical activity adopted by a country and relevant institutions and individuals to maintain or change the national image.It is an important way to spread national image.National image rhetoric is used in a variety of carriers,the teaching materials for Chinese as a foreign language is a very important carrier.TCSL textbooks reflect China's real life,history,culture and so on.They are not only a window for students to understand China,but also a text densely presenting the phenomenon of national image rhetoric.For a long time in the past,the research on textbooks mainly focused on the number and order of vocabulary and grammar points,as well as the scientificity and communicativeness of textbooks,and the insufficient cognition of the rhetorical function of national image and the attribute of cultural communication of textbooks.At present,the Chinese and foreign Chinese textbooks of different community use due to different writing subject and applicable object in the image rhetoric way of distribution and the performance of the state,and so on is different,and the differences between the actual to a certain extent,reflects the value and significance of national image rhetoric,therefore this study selected domestic use the full set of Chinese textbooks of the Development of Chinese and Integrated Chinese textbooks of"listening,speaking,reading and writing in Chinese.First,according to the extraction standard of national image rhetoric,172 texts are sorted out with one sentence(word)as the unit,and the research projects are analyzed in an exhaustive manner.A total of 2,144 national image rhetoric items are counted,with more than 70,000 words,forming a self-built small corpus.Based on corpus and other rhetoric theories and speech act theories,this paper makes a full analysis of the distribution and characteristics of national image rhetoric in the two sets of textbooks and the national image created by the rhetoric means in different textbooks.By describing the commonness and difference through quantitative statistics,it analyzes and explains its causes.Further,the theoretical framework of constructing national image with the help of national image rhetoric in the text of Chinese textbooks is proposed,and specific Suggestions on textbook optimization are put forward in combination with teaching practice.This paper is divided into five parts,the specific content is as follows:The first part is the introduction,a general overview of the article,including the significance of the topic,literature review,the definition of research objects and terms,theoretical basis and research methods.Second,three,four parts is the main part of the paper: the second part namely chapter one Chinese and foreign Chinese teaching material in the national image rhetoric analysis,this paper introduces the teaching material text national image rhetoric analysis framework,the standard of the corpora extraction and semantic classification,and describes two sets of the distribution of national image rhetoric in the textbooks,that is,from the text,new words,grammar and practice four plates on the quantity,type,distribution analysis of characteristics and so on,at the same time,the national image rhetoric distribution of each teaching material and teaching material level corresponding comparison and plate;The third part namely chapter two the national image embodiment of Chinese and foreign Chinese teaching material,and focuses on the Chinese and foreign textbooks national image rhetoric plastic image of the country,by the specific image image image from the political,economic,social,cultural and geographical image parsing,four aspects,such as emphasis on two sets of textbooks nations image rhetoric to shape the image of the specific ways and methods.Furthermore,a comparative study is made on the national image of the two sets of Chinese and foreign textbooks.In the fourth part,chapter three,national image rhetoric and the optimization of Chinese teaching materials,theoretical construction is first carried out,and various theoretical systems of national image are proposed to be built and spread through national image rhetoric.Then,Suggestions on textbook optimization are put forward based on the nature and objectives of teaching Chinese as a foreign language.The fifth part is the conclusion of the thesis.On the basis of summarizing and combing the overall structure of the paper,the deficiencies of the research were reflected,and the future development direction of this research was proposed.
