In the northern part of ancient China, two nationalities were born. These two nationalities began to develop rapidly from small-scale tribes, occupied the territory of our country and established their own feudal ruling class successively, which had an important impact on the history of all dynasties in our country, and they were Mongolian and Manchu. These two nationalities belong to the northern Altaic language family and share similar national cultures.Their dominant areas are also very similar and overlapping. Therefore, their cultures will interact and overlap with each other, including their dances. The dances between the two nationalities share many similarities and have their own national characteristics. This article takes the comparative study of Mongolian and Manchu Shaman Dance as the theme, except that the introduction part is composed of four chapters: Chapter 1 is the origin and development of Mongolian and Manchu Shaman Dance, which will be discussed from the origin and development of Mongolian and Manchu Shaman Dance;Chapter 2 is the comparative analysis of Mongolian and Manchu Shaman Dance types, which intends to offer sacrifices under the influence of natural worship.Sexual dance, war dance influenced by ancestor worship and totem dance influenced by totem worship are three different dance forms. The third chapter is a comparative analysis of the performance characteristics of Mongolian and Manchu Shaman dances, trying to explore the common and different characteristics of the two national Shaman dances from multiple perspectives. The fourth chapter is about the protection of Mongolian and Manchu Shaman Dance.Starting from discussing the survival status of Shaman Dance since the beginning of New China,it further studies the status of the two ethnic Shaman Dances in the protection of intangible cultural heritage. It is hoped that on the basis of many documents and materials,we can complete the research on the subject content from far to near and from shallow to deep through four chapters,so as to achieve the research purpose of this topic.
