A Study On Pragmatic Strategies Of Ridicule Language In The Online Talk Show Program TUCAO CONFERENCE

Ridicule was first introduced into China from the Japanese barrage culture.The so-called ridicule is to use direct or indirect words to express the opinions of the testee,often with the element of banter and joke.The internet age is also the age of public ridicule.Behind the ridicule is the prevalence of "mutual hatred" culture.lt is very important to master the skill of ridicule correctly and learn to face the ridicule from the outside world with an optimistic attitude.As the slogan of "TuCao Conference" advocated,"ridicule is a skill,and it takes courage to laugh".Ridicule is a kind of speech act.What comes out of a speech act of ridicule is the ridicule language.As an important part of network language,the study of ridicule language is helpful for us to understand how people choose the form of expression in the Internet age.Based on the relevant theories of pragmatic strategies in pragmatics,this paper takes the ridicule language of the host and guests in the online talk show "TuCao Conference"as the research object,and further analyzes the pragmatic strategies adopted in order to achieve the pragmatic effects of sarcasm and humor with examples.This paper is divided into six parts.The first part is the introduction,which introduces the research task and significance,the research status,the research method and the source of the corpus.This author also makes a preliminary definition of the object of study "ridicule" and "ridicule language",and further distinguishes the concepts of ridicule and sarcasm,complaints and so on.The second part first analyzes the form and text of the "TuCao Conference" program.And then generalizes the pragmatic features of the ridicule language in the program,that is,the language is popular and lively,making good use of network buzzwords,with obvious hidden meaning.Thirdly,the paper summarizes the main pragmatic effects of the expressions of ridicule language in the program "TuCao Conference".One is to carry out sarcasm and criticism on the guests,and the other is to achieve humorous and funny program effects,laying a foundation for the pragmatic strategies of the analysis of ridicule language in the following paragraphs.The third part and the fourth part are the main points of the thesis.Through the typical lines and dialogue,the author analyzes the pragmatic strategies of the ridicule language from the perspective of sarcasm and humor respectively.The strategies to achieve satiric effect include personal directive strategy,rhetorical strategy and negative evaluation strategy.The strategies to achieve humorous effect include deliberate misinterpretation,violation of pragmatic principles and sharp turn of words.In the fifth part,the author expounds the problems of ridicule in the program,he main problems in"TuCao Conference" are the monotonization of ridicule content and the use of impolite language.The sixth part summarizes the main points and innovations of the paper,and points out the shortcomings of the research.
