In the classroom of English Teaching,Teacher Talk is the most reliable resources of the language input.Especially in primary school,Teacher Talk directly influences the learners' language input.In this thesis,the author chose twelve videos(six from sixth Country's primary school English teachers' high quality class and six from teachers who have been awarded provincial teaching experts in Yan'an,Shanxi)to study the comprehensive strategies of Teacher Talk used by primary school's English teachers by using the method of classroom observation.Combining Krashen's comprehensive theory,Long's international hypothesis,strategies proposed by Chaudron and the practical teaching,the author tried to analysis the main strategies used by teachers about the comprehensive input from six aspects:negotiation of meaning,speech adjustment,simplified language,elaboration,repetition and nonverbal behavioral assistance and pointed out problems during the use of the comprehensible input strategies about the twelve classes in this paper.Suggestions are given on how to make teaching language more comprehensible,and thus make English class more effective.This paper is divided into 5 parts.Part ?:IntroductionTeacher Talk is the most reliable resources of the language input in the classroom teaching.Especially in primary school,Teacher Talk directly influences the learners'language input.It is very important to study the comprehensible input strategies by primary school English teachers in the classroom teaching.Part ?:Literature reviewThis thesis mainly states the study of teaching language,the study of the teaching language used by primary school's teachers,and especially the present study of the comprehensible input.Part ?:Research studyThe author mainly used class observation to study the 12 classes and made different observation tables to carry out actual class language observation based on different comprehensible input strategies.Besides,the author also gave examples to elaborate some of the strategies.Part IV.Results and discussionThrough the analysis of twelve teachers' class languages,the author states six main strategies used by primary School English teachers:negotiation of meaning,speech adjustment,simplified language,elaboration,repetition,nonverbal behavioral assistance and pointed out problems during the use of the comprehensible input strategies about the twelve classes in this paper.Part V.ConclusionTeachers need to study teacher talk and comprehensible input,and thus improve teacher talk and make teacher talk more comprehensible.Therefore,it can improve teaching efficiency and promote language acquisition.Based on the above results,suggestions are given.Strengthen study on the teacher talk and comprehensive input.Adjust language input from teaching material and use original knowledge to lead new knowledge.Improve interaction and use strategies to improve comprehensible input.Student-centered and give students more opportunities to talk.Use nonverbal behavioral assistance language to help students understand.
