Combining artificial intelligence and robotics technology will bring new progress for the development of high intelligent robots.Educational robots will surely have a higher level of intelligence and a wider range of knowledge.The application of educational robots in the field of education,especially in classroom teaching,has attracted more and more researchers' attention.Integrating robots into the classroom will certainly impact and bring beneficial changes to the traditional teaching and learning methods.With the deepening of globalization,as an international language,English is becoming more and more important.The Compulsory Education English Curriculum Standard also sets clear requirements for students' oral English ability.Traditional English teaching in China pays more attention to the study of English knowledge related to examinations,often ignoring the cultivation of oral communicative competence,which leads to the phenomenon of "dumb English".This paper takes teaching spoken English aided by robots as the research object,explores the ways to create an educational environment for spoken English by using robots,and the ideas and schemes for the application of robots in English classroom teaching practice,hoping to bring a new scheme with research data support for the research of robot-aided instruction.This paper mainly does the following three tasks.1.By consulting a large number of literatures,the author analyses the current research status and practical application of educational robot-aided language teaching at home and abroad.It also explores the practicability of robot-aided classroom teaching by analyzing the advantages and disadvantages of traditional teaching methods and investigating the attitudes of junior middle school students and primary and secondary school teachers to robots.2.In view of the lack of instructional concepts in robot-aided language teaching,this paper makes a theoretical study on robot-aided spoken English teaching.The author finds the conjunction point between constructivism and robot-aided instruction,and summarizes the process of robot-aided language acquisition through second language acquisition theory and communicative teaching method.Based on the constructivist teaching theory,with the help of 4C/ID model,and then using the characteristics and functions of educational robots,a robot-aided spoken English teaching model is designed,which combines robots with traditional teaching activities.3.Unit7 How much are these pants?,published in the seventh grade English book of the People's Education Press,is selected as the teaching content,and a detailed teaching design case is completed according to the basic framework of the Robot-Assisted Oral English Teaching Design Model.It also provides teachers with a self-assessment form as a reference for self-assessment,and then uses expert interviews to understand teachers' attitudes and opinions on robotic classroom teaching methods and robot-aided spoken English teaching design.
