Secondary vocational education is an important part of China's education system.It is an important task for cultivating hundreds of millions of high-quality workers.It is an indispensable source of economic and social development in China.Therefore,secondary vocational education has been putting wider and wider attention and input.The vocational English grammar is the basic content of the compulsory cultural course English for secondary vocational students,and it is the foundation for developing students' listening,speaking,reading and writing skills.At present,the status quo of English grammar teaching and learning in secondary vocational colleges is not optimistic,mainly reflected in that secondary vocational students have poor English grammar,teachers are accustomed to using traditional blackboard combined with PPT for teaching,and there lacks of interaction between teachers and students in the classroom.The "Rain Classroom" developed by Tsinghua University and"XuetangX" provides an opportunity to improve this situation."Rain Classroom" aims to give a new experience to classroom teaching and increase the interaction between teachers and students.Under its support,traditional teaching has been given the advantages of online learning,which can not only promote students in face-to-face classroom teaching,but also accept data feedback online,Which ensures the student's dominant position and improve the quality of English grammar teaching."Rain Classroom" will provide an opportunity for the informationization reform of English grammar teaching in secondary vocational schools.Based on the "Rain Classroom",this study designed an instructional design model that meets the characteristics of English grammar teaching in secondary vocational schools.This study utilize the powerful function of "Rain Classroom" to supplement the traditional grammar teaching methods,stimulate the initiative of English grammar learning for secondary vocational students,and improve their English grammar scores.Based on the requirements of secondary vocational schools English grammar teaching and the problems existed in English grammar teaching and learning in secondary vocational schools,this study explores the relevance of "Rain Classroom" and English grammar teaching in secondary vocational schools,and constructs a vocational grammar instructional design model supported by "Rain Classroom".Then,the author selected two levels of equivalent classes in a secondary vocational school in Changsha for a six-week practical teaching,and showed it in the "current time".Finally,the feasibility and rationality of the instructional design model are verified through the evaluation of teaching process,the comparison of the experimental class and the control class,interviews and questionnaires.Through SPSS,the results of theexperimental test and the control class were compared and analyzed.The practice proved that there was a significant difference between the two groups.The overall average of the experimental class was higher than the control class by 2.41/out of 20 points.The English grammar teaching supported by the "Rain Classroom" has really improved the English grammar learning scores of secondary vocational students,which greatly stimulated their interest in English grammar learning.
