Research On Zhang Yuanji's Collation Records Of Baina Edition Han Shu

The Twenty-Four History of Baina Edition published by Commercial Press which is presided by Zhang Yuanji.It has invested a lot in collating various historical books and adopting the most advanced photographic plate-making technology at that time.In December 1997,Zhang Yuanji's Collation Records of Baina Edition Han Shu was published by the Commercial Press after being sorted out by Mr.Wang Shaozeng and others.This book keeps the original appearance of the manuscript in the greatest extent and reveals many different versions of Hanshu.It is a valuable material for us to study the collation of Hanshu and the achievement of Mr.Zhang Yuanji's Hanshu collation.On the basis of previous studies,this paper has a more detailed understanding of the features about Baina edition by comparing Baina edition with Jingyou edition and various editions involved in collation.This paper clarifies the specific differences between Baina edition and Jingyou edition and can facilitate the use of Baina edition.It also makes a comprehensive textual research on the compilation,author,circulation of the Collected Records of Baina Edition Han Shu,and searches the value of this book in literature.Through the in-depth study of collation,we can correct its errors and shortcomings in order to help the collation study of Hanshu.
