The Dunhuang Mural is treasure of the world civilization.There is no doubt that it has a huge scale and exquisite skills,with high historical and social and artistic value.The Dunhuang Murals in Tang Dynasty embodies the concept of Chinese traditional art and the technique of creation.Its art form has deeply influenced the creation of Fine Arts in China,even the world.As the most primitive form of painting,the murals developed from cave tomb paintings into architectural decoration and interior decoration,mostly representing myths,legends,historical stories and civic life.The Traditional Chinese Realistic Painting is a category of Chinese painting techniques,with subtle and delicate painting techniques,seeking likeness in realism,and figure painting origin of the longest.by Tang Dynasty,the traditional Chinese Realistic Painting has been perfect and mature.Rock-Color Painting is a kind of painting with mineral pigments as carrier.Its history can be traced back to Banpo painted pottery,the peak in the Tang Dynasty.The Chinese Figure Painting is closely related to the forms of Dunhuang Murals in many areas,including Traditional Chinese Realistic Painting and Rock-Color Painting etc.Under the realistic context of contemporary culture,modern paintings and even artistic creations often show too much emphasis on originalities and individualized self-expressions,thus lack of inheritances andperformances of skills.Therefore,there are of positive significant for the times that a comprehensive and in-depth study of Dunhuang Mural in Tang Dynasty,the inheritance and development of its excellent traditional techniques,and drawing on its rich forms of expression in order to the theory of modern paintings,or creative explorations.Excavating and inheriting from Chinese native culture and endows it with the vitality and outlook of The Times.This is exactly the spiritual awakening process of my learning,cognition and creation practice of Dunhuang Murals in Tang Dynasty.
