The Influence Of Dunhuang Murals On My Creation

Located at the western end of Gansu province,Dunhuang is the throat of the ancient silk road leading to the western regions.Due to its important geographical location,it has become an important place where Chinese and western cultures converge,collide and blend.Dun Huang fresco art is one of the essence of Chinese traditional culture and plays an important role in the inheritance of Chinese traditional culture.It is a great treasure house of Chinese art.Its scale,quantity and content have reached the peak in ancient Chinese mural art.In the early years of the tang dynasty,the colorful mural”Zhang Qian's mission to the western regions",painted in cave no.323 of the Mogao Grottoes in Dunhuang,is a buddhist story painting with historical themes.It is vividly reflects the historical events about Zhang Qian to the western regions,it is also a strong artistic mural works.In today's society,the traditional art loved by more and more people.For artists,there are too many aspects of Chinese traditional murals to appreciate,learn from and learn from.The mineral pigment used in the mural,after thousands of years of wind and sun,presents a sense of peeling to add more mysterious color to the mural.Taking Zhang Qian's journey to the western regions in cave no.323 of the Mogao grottoes in Dun Huang as an example,this paper analyzes the characteristics of the composition,color and shape of the murals,as well as the influence of traditional murals on contemporary rock paintings in combination with the rock paintings of some contemporary artists.At the same time,this paper also introduces in detail the author in the process of graduation experience,as well as their own rock painting in the creation of problems encountered.
