Vibrating Circle:Study On The Ink Painting Art Of Wu Guanzhong

As one of the most pioneering representative painters in the 20 th century's Chinese painting world,Wu Guanzhong boldly merged the Chinese and Western painting art styles into one,pushing through the old and bringing forth the new,with the characteristics of the times.He not only created a new pattern in the history of Chinese painting,but also exerted unprecedented influence in the international art world.As a master of Chinese and Western painting art,Wu Guanzhong has been involved in many areas of painting performance,especially in the artistic innovation of "nationalization of oil painting" and "modernization of Chinese painting".Wu Guanzhong first emerged in the field of oil painting art,but with the passage of time,he found that oil painting could not fully express his idea of Chinese traditional art innovation,so he re-entered the field of Chinese painting in the 1980 s,and in the tireless exploration and practice,he combined the heterogeneous western art elements with Chinese traditional aesthetic concepts,after repeated attempts and experiments.Continuous accumulation and innovation eventually formed his unique landscape painting artistic style.The style and connotation of his works have profound guiding significance for the innovation and development of modern Chinese ink landscape painting art.Wu Guanzhong's ink and wash art combines the advantages and charm of both Chinese and Western art.It is a paradigm that runs through the beauty of Chinese and Western art.The process of its development and evolution is also a process that Wu Guanzhong integrates the expressive style of western modern art and the charm of Chinese traditional painting art.This paper focuses on the development of Wu Guanzhong's ink and wash art from four aspects: firstly,it looks back on Wu Guanzhong's art life and explores the historical background of his different creative stages;secondly,it surveys Wu Guanzhong's works of art,discusses the influence of ideology in different historical periods on the evolution of his painting style and appearance,and analyses his works according to Wu Guanzhong's own quotations.Third,combining Wu Guanzhong's Chinese and Western artistic ideas,we can deeply understand his artistic concept and value pursuit.Finally,we can analyze the inspiration of Wu Guanzhong's ink painting art to the development of modern painting art in the light of current art phenomena.This study will carefully sort out the reasons for the formation of Wu Guanzhong's ink and wash art,which integrates Chinese and Western artistic characteristics,in order to form a more comprehensive and profound understanding,and lay a theoretical foundation for further research in the later period.
