Vocational education plays an important role in Chinese modern education system and thoroughly implements the spirit of the 19 th CPC national congress and strives to enhance educational power to build China.In the report of the 19 th CPC national congress,the CPC central committee and the state council attached great importance to the development of vocational education.Since reform and opening,the vigorous development of vocational education has also brought new breakthroughs to the development of education.With the development of vocational education in China,the development of vocational education of Guangdong province is at the forefront.As a coastal province with rapidly economic development,English courses play an important part in secondary vocational education in Guangdong.With the development of economic globalization,there is a growing demand for skilled talents who master English.Therefore,apart from the most important professional skills in secondary vocational schools for students majoring in engineering,the importance of Basic English courses is self-evident.From the data analysis of students' questionnaires,it can be seen that there are more male students majoring in engineering in secondary vocational schools;poor entrance English scores;weak English foundation;unclear learning objectives;incorrect learning attitudes and no interest in English learning.From teachers' questionnaires can be seen that teachers equipped with insufficient,traditional teaching methods and management methods such as the outdated teaching methods.These factors bring great difficulties for secondary vocational English classroom teaching management of engineering.The author was a secondary vocational school English teacher,based on former work experience in M secondary vocational school of Dongguan to investigate and observe the subject.As an example of secondary vocational English classroom teaching management of engineering,it has been carried on the investigation and analysis,through the questionnaire method,interview method,literature research,combined with the characteristics of vocational school students majored in engineering to explore the elements of classroom teaching management includes the teaching object,teaching target,teaching content,teaching methods and means,the mode of classroom management,classroom teaching evaluation,etc.,and concludes strategies and suggestions of effectiveness of vocational English classroom teaching management majored in engineering.
