The Greek art represented by the group of Laocoon is the existence of the beginning of western art,and all the possibilities of art thereafter will be followed by the shadow of the beginning. As the beginning of western art, ancient Greek art had a profound influence on medieval art,Renaissance art and baroque art. Most western artists can draw inspiration from the ancient Greek art.As the representative works of ancient Greek, the group images of Laocoon had a deep influence on Rubens' artistic creation.Rubens grew up during the war years. His works were written by the royal family, the nobility and the church.During the study tour to Italy,I studied the original Greek sculpture.During this period,I met the group portraits of Laocoon.Among a large number of sketches left in the world,Rubens' s group portraits of Laocoon is the most direct and powerful evidence that Rubens' s painting style is influenced by the group portraits of Laocoon. This paper makes a comparative study of Rubens' artistic creation and the hellenistic artistic style represented by the group images of Laocoon. This paper analyzes the influence of the historical background, climate, geographical environment and art market of the two on art,and on this basis analyzes the relationship between the two in terms of composition,s-shaped lines, body form, drama, psychological emotion, tragedy, sense of pain, symbol, metaphor, aesthetics and other factors.Although sculpture and painting are two different forms of art media, they are closely related and have differences,so this paper makes a comprehensive comparative analysis of them and the artistic styles they represent.Through this analysis of the relationship between the two and Rubens for the former art inheritance and new ways and means.
