Research On Lu Mountain’s Stone Inscriptions

As one of the world’s cultural landscapes.Lu mountain has its own unique natural landscape and abundant culture.The superior geographical environment and Confucianism,Buddhism,Taoism three in one together with seclusion culture have attracted a large number of scholars men came here.Adding vitality into Lu mountain culture and promoting the works.Mount Lu is famous in China and all over the world.The stone inscriptions show the most historical milestone significance of Lu mountain culture.Making research on Lu mountain stone inscriptions is one of the most important part of Lu Mountain culture.This paper focus on the culture of Lu mountain stone inscriptions.According to the stone texture,the author divide the inscriptions into two kinds: inscriptions on precipices and stele-inscriptions.Making a survey of the whole stone inscriptions’ distribution from Tang dynasty to Qing dynasty.From the value of historical data,collecting lost,collation three aspects to analysis the historical value contains.researching on the value of artistic depending on the calligraphy art form of the stone inscriptions.Studying the culture value of the stone inscriptions depending on the contents of the stone inscriptions.This paper the author use the methods of classifying,concluding,summarizing,analyzing and discussing.Making a conclusion that the stone inscriptions in Lu mountain has features like concentrated,extensive,Time span long,form various,celebrity charm and far-reaching influence.Confucianism,Buddhism,Taoism three in one together with seclusion culture has been highly reflected in this artistic form.So Lu mountain stone inscriptions has excellent historical value,artistic value and culture value.
