Textual research developed rapidly in the Qing,Gan and Jia Dynasties.As an important document for textual research on the history of classics,many scholars devoted themselves to the search for and research on epigraphy,and Ruan Yuan(1764-1849)was one of them.In the autumn of 58 th year of Qanlong,only 30 years old Ruan Yuan was appointed to replace Weng Fanggang as a political student in Shandong Province.He was able to make extensive contact with the stone tablets of various prefectures and counties,and participated in the research of Jinshi textual research under the guidance of Weng Fanggang,Bi Yuan and Huang Yi.During his tenure in Shandong Province,Ruan also invited a group of knowledgeable people to compile books and school books.Among them,the achievements in the field of gold and stone research Is the successful compilation of the book "Records of the Stone on the Left Mountain".Ruan Yuan organized Muyou to compile "Records of Stone and Stone on the Left of Mountain" which was closely related to the prosperity of textual research in the Ganjia period,and the development of textual research led to the re-prosperity of stone and stone research.This article is divided into three chapters.The first chapter introduces the basic situation of epigraphy research in Shandong during the Ganjia period,that is,the conditions for the development and prosperity of epigraphy in Shandong.During the Ganjia period,many scholars were attracted by the abundant epigraphy tablets in Shandong to visit the epigraphy tablets here,and the collected epigraphy tablets were collated and compiled into a book,while local scholars were also included in the visiting epigraphy and description under the influence of this strong academic atmosphere,with outstanding achievements.The second chapter expounds the writing conditions,editing purposes,editing and collating as well as the errors in this book.By referring to the works of other scholars,we find that there are some problems in the arrangement sequence,time textual research and citation of this book.This article points out the inaccuracies of this book.The third chapter elaborates the contribution of Ruan Yuan's "Records of the Stone and Stone on the Left of Mountain" in the field of stone and stone research.First,the book revises and supplements the errors and shortcomings in the previous works on stone and stone.The second is that this book,as a comprehensive work on the study of the inscriptions on the left side of the mountain,has the function of guiding and drawing lessons from the compilation of local inscriptions on the stone and the compilation of state and county records by later generations.The third is Ruan Yuan's observation of numerous inscriptions in the Qin,Han,Wei,Jin and Northern Dynasties in Shandong.His ideological understanding has been continuously improved.The evaluation of the inscriptions in the Han,Wei and Northern Dynasties is the source of his thoughts on inscriptions.Ruan Yuan called on Mu You to search for and compile the book "Records of the Stone and Stone on the Left of Mountain" on the stone and stone of Shandong.The original intention of this book is to make up the history of the classics and preserve the materials of gold and stone in the way of literature.This book has been confirmed by many scholars by the compilation of gold and stone.It is worth mentioning that Ruan Yuan,in the process of searching,copying,sorting out and textual research on the stone tablet,realized that the inscription of the unknown tablet in the Northern Dynasty had the meaning of official script,and its calligraphy value could not be underestimated.This,advocate on the pursuit of ancient law,learning Han Wei,NorthernDynasty tablet version,to a certain extent promote the rise of tablet science.
