Realistic painting is an art school that truly represents ordinary life.It emphasizes reflecting the essence of the original state of things through objective reality.It has typical documentary and critical features in social functions.Realistic art has been firmly rooted in Chinese art culture since it entered China in the 20 th century and has a profound influence in the history of Chinese oil painting.And Chen Danqing's "Tibetan Series" is a typical example in this period of Chinese realistic painting history."Tibetan Series" successfully attracted the attention of the Chinese art circle by controlling the pure European painting language and removing the meaning of "politicizing".It freed the public's aesthetic perspective from the "Soviet style" and gave Chinese art a brand-new aesthetic perspective.This article is mainly divided into three parts: The first part mainly analyzes the causes of the birth of "Tibetan Series" in the context of that time from the factors that influenced Chen Danqing's creation of "Tibetan Series".The second part mainly analyzes the innovation in painting language and creative skills from the value and significance of "Tibetan Series",that is,the return of human nature that fully embodies the sense of reality and nationality;The third part mainly introduces the influence of "Tibetan Series",that is,to analyze the significance of "Tibetan Series" in Chinese art history from the exhibition and media comments and publication."Tibetan Series" directly reflects the importance of subjective thinking and respect for "human nature" in painting creation by truly reproducing the simplicity of Tibetans.The most important significance of “Tibetan Series”in the history of fine arts is its guiding and enlightening role in the changes and renewals in the history of Chinese fine arts.
