The "Four Causes" Structure Of The Discourse System Of Literary Theory In Wen Xin Diao Long

The study of the structure system of Wen Xin Diao Long in the past dynasties is based on the reasonable observation of the overall text structure,and rarely breaks through the constraints of the external chapter order to consider the whole from the inside.Therefore,this thesis is devoted to breaking the external barrier and seeking the inherent logic system of Wen Xin Diao Long.Liu Xie's Wen Xin Diao Long contains exactly the argumentation framework of Aristotle's "Four Causes".Among them,Tao and Emotion are Efficient Cause,Tao is the fundamental Efficient Cause,and Emotion is the direct Efficient Cause.He regards love as an emotion that conforms to the norms of ethics,and unifies the two emotions into one without essential differences.Teach and Gentle are Final Cause,Teach is a practical Final Cause,and Gentle is an aesthetic Final Cause.He believes that literary creation is the existence of utilitarian and utilitarian,and must grasp certain scales.Styles and Feature are Formal Cause,Styles is the forms and style of literature,and Feature is the setting of literature.He believes that the Styles of literature is natural and flexible.Once formed,Styles its own independent inheritance relationship in its definition and change,and promotes the essence of literary representation.Word and Scenery are the Material Cause,Word is the medium of literary creation,and Scenery is the material of literary creation.He believes that the form and content of literature are not opposite each other,but they are pushing each other forward in constant running-in and confrontation.Liu Xie's Wen Xin Diao Long generally shows a structural framework that is not completely the same as Aristotle's "Four Causes".The great inclusiveness attributed to Aristotle's " Four Causes" theory is also derived from the comprehensiveness of Wen Xin Diao Long itself and the dynamics of the "transactional compromise" thought.The implication of development,connection and unity of opposites puts forward new requirements for literary works to follow a comprehensive dialectic.At the same time,the problems that arise in the study of the "Four Causes" structure model of Wen Xin Diao Long should also be the focus that we must pay attention to in future research.
