Before the birth of Buddhism,the idea of “non-duality” had been embodied in other sects of Indian thought,and after the birth of Buddhism,it developed its own unique meaning,which was embodied in the major Buddhist classics.The “Vimalakirti Nirdesa Sutra” officially put forward the word "the dharma-door of non-duality" and created a special text to explain how to enter the dharma-door of non-duality.Its non-duality Thoughts also permeated the various scriptures,which makes it possible for the idea of “non-duality” to display a richer image.Contemporary scholars generally believe that there are two forms of the dharma-door of non-duality: positive and negative.This paper tries to base on the specific behaviors shown in Chapter 9 and other chapters of the Sutra,such as "She Lifu meditation","Jia She begging" and "Tiannv San hua".and refer to the notes and comments of Sengzhao,Luoshi,Huiyuan and Zhu Daosheng.This paper tries to further analyze and prove the internal mechanism behind the two forms from the perspective of substance,intention and function on the basis of the texts and the notes of the sages.It is believed that only when the negative form is adhered to,can the substance be obtained,and then the affirmation of the other level of the mind can be achieved.It also analyses the internal relations between the idea of non-duality and the thought of sunya,the thought of middle way and non-discrimination,which are embodied in the affirmation and negation of the mind.In this way,we have a more systematic grasp of the "the dharma-door of non-duality".In the aspect of active use,this paper tries to prove the inevitability behind Mahayana Bodhisattva's extensive cultivation of Pure Land in order to spend all living beings.From the point of view of Bodhisattva's standard,after substance has been proved,great sorrow arises because of the infatuation and suffering of all living beings.With the heart of all living beings as its heart,all living beings will begin to rest.Therefore,only by adhering to the affirmative thinking of negation,can we truly arouse great sorrow,make it convenient to travel,achieve all living beings,and purify the land of Buddha.Behind the bodhisattvas' journey to the pure land,there is the spirit of not being separated from others,which is due to the connection between bodhisattvas' substance and sentient beings' mind.At the same time,Bodhisattva not only takes the heart of all living beings as its heart,that is,it can blend perfectly in this heart,but also can naturally accomplish the journey of harmony in the process of living beings.
