Study On The Characteristics Of Decorative Elements In Klimt Paintings

Line strokes are one of the most important elements of painting language,and the changes of lines in the picture will have a rich presentation of artistic effects.In the long history of painting development,the style of lines has been changing with the changes of the times and the development of artistic concepts.Chinese painting and calligraphy lines have a unique charm,which directly reflects the spirit of Chinese culture.Zhao Wuji,a famous travel painter,is one of the most successful artists who combines Chinese artistic spirit with Western oil painting techniques.This paper discusses the evolution of line artistic style in Zhao Wuji’s works vertically and horizontally,as well as its aesthetic characteristics in painting creation,and analyses the forming factors of Zhao Wuji’s painting style.This paper focuses on the analysis of the traditional Chinese cultural spirit embodied in the expressive lines in Zhao Wuji’s oil paintings.Mr.Zhao Wuji combines the spirit of Chinese traditional culture with the language of western modern art.He explores thousands of years of Chinese traditional civilization and artistic spirit by means of western artistic expression,breaks some formulaic fetters in the expression methods of Chinese traditional painting,and makes unique contributions to the transformation of Chinese art and the integration of international art.
