Sculpture is a three-dimensional plastic art of three-dimensional space,sculpture has a unique form of language and unique aesthetic characteristics.When most people appreciate sculpture works,they usually start from the body language and sometimes ignore the color language of sculpture.However,with the rapid development of The Times,the sculpture art has shown a diversified development trend,more forms of sculpture appear,and the color language is more important in the sculpture creation,providing more ways and means for the sculpture creation in the future.A variety of different forms of color language and emotional integration,to build a bridge of communication between the sculpture and the audience.This paper takes the color language of sculpture as the starting point and analyzes and discusses it from five chapters.The first chapter is the introduction,mainly introduces the research background,research significance and research methods;The second chapter reviews the application of color in sculpture from the perspective of history and provides the theoretical basis for the research on the manifestation of color in sculpture in the third chapter.The third chapter makes a systematic case study of the expression of color in sculpture from four aspects and lays a foundation for the role of color in the emotion of sculpture in the fourth chapter.The fourth chapter further discusses the emotional role of color in sculpture,including systematic analysis from four aspects: material,painting,lighting and environment.The fifth chapter further integrates the color and emotion of sculpture,and summarizes the way of the fusion of color language and emotion as well as the importance of the fusion of the two to sculpture,which is finally reflected in my artistic creation.
