On The Creative Characteristics And Performing Techniques Of Zheng Song "western Theme Imagination"

With the vigorous development of modern Guzheng art,more and more new Guzheng works have emerged.On purpose of adapting to the music aesthetics of the new times,a large part of the new Guzheng works widely absorb and use the composing methods or playing forms of western music on the basis of retaining the original traditional charm of the Guzheng.For example,breaks the traditional pentatonic mode using tuning,and use for reference the fingering and performance way of piano and other Western musical instruments.This kind of work has more distinct flavor and enriches the expressive force of the Guzheng,thus makes the performance of the music more vivid."Western Theme Imagination" is one of the representative music works of this kind.In this paper,the "Western Theme Imagination" has been investigated and analysed from its creative background,music content,work structure,rhythm characteristics,melody style,performance techniques and works in the concert experience.In the analysis of the work content,this paper mainly explores the chord characteristics,musical structure,music content,performance techniques and music elements of Mukam used in this work.In the last chapter,according to the author's own experience,the author summarizes the specific techniques and skills in performing this work,and expresses personal views on the musical style and emotion which should be pay attention to in performing this work in concerts.From this,we can see that though mixing the traditional and innovative techniques and absorbing the musical composing style of ethnic minorities(Xinjiang Uygur),this work can embody the unique charm for the Guzheng music works of the new times.
