Research On The Musical Style And Performance Techniques Of Guzheng Song "Imagination On The Western Theme"

“The Western Theme Fantasy” is a modern Guzheng song inspired by the humane feelings and regional culture of the western region.The publication of this work has had an important impact on the creation of modern Guzheng music.It combines the traditional performance of guzheng with the composition structure of western culture,and constructs a new musical aesthetics of modern national music.By integrating the structural characteristics of western music,the music style and artistic atmosphere of western minority areas are expressed in the works.At the same time,in the aspect of performance skills and methods,it breaks through the limitations of the past and a part of the new modern Guzheng music performance techniques has been improved.This article analyzes music style which combines the western minority music style and the performance skills of this work.It is hoped to provide some theoretical and practical references for the performance of “The Western Theme Fantasy”.
