The main object of this thesis is the phenomenon of the flexible use of parts of speech in Zhan Guo Ce.By analyzing and summarizing the phenomenon of the flexible use of parts of speech in the policy of classics,there are three important laws of the flexible use of parts of speech are summarized.They are noun part of speech,verb part of speech and adjective part of speech;In the process of this thesis,It is necessary not only to screen and sort out the book,but also to master the knowledge of ancient Chinese phonetics,vocabulary and grammar.Through the integration of relevant linguistic knowledge,this paper can reveal the rules of the flexible use of parts of speech in a detailed and comprehensive way.This paper is divided into six chapters.In the first chapter,it introduces Liu Xiang's life and the circulation and annotation of the Zhan Guo Ce,it also summarizes the results of the phenomenon of the flexible use of parts of speech,and makes a clear explanation of the research significance and method of the thesis.The second chapter,it clarifies the criteria for the phenomenon of flexible use of parts of speech and summarizes the theoretical explanation firstly,make differences between the concepts related and the flexible use of parts of speech,and then shows the specific writing process of this paper,and gives examples to illustrate it.In the process of sorting out examples,this paper makes a comparison with the phenomenon of flexible use in the monographs,according to the methods mentioned,it finds out the unique examples in the Zhan Guo Ce,and tries to sort exhaustively.The third chapter,it shows the rules from analyzing the types,the semantic changes after the active use of nouns as verbs and the conditions of the active use of nouns as verbs.The fourth chapter discusses the rules of the active use of verbs,it mainly from the types,the conditions of the active use of verbs as other words and the semantic changes.The fifth chapter explores the rules of adjective flexible use,it mainly from the types,adjective flexible use as a verb conditions and meaning changes,etc.The conclusion of the sixth chapter is a summary of the rules of the flexible use of parts of speech in Zhan Guo Ce,and a comparison among the flexible use of nouns,verbs and adjectives,so as to explore the main rules of the flexible use of words in ancient Chinese preliminarily.
