Study On The Change Of Tibetan Buddhism Belief In Labrang Town Of Xiahe County

Buddhism is one of the three major religions in the world.In the process of development and dissemination,it gradually formed two major departments: North and South.Tibetan Buddhism is a branch developed by Northern Buddhism(divided into Chinese Buddhism and Tibetan Buddhism),also known as Tibetan Buddhism.Indian Buddhism was introduced to Tubo from India in the early 7th century AD.It absorbed a large amount of the content of Benboism and was more deeply rooted in the society at that time,thus gradually developing Tibetan Buddhism.With the development of our country's social economy and the acceleration of modernization,the secularization of Tibetan Buddhism in the process of inheritance and development has become an inevitable development trend of Tibetan Buddhism.First of all,monks and believers are the main communicators,practitioners and participants of Tibetan Buddhist teachings and religious activities.As the main body of Tibetan Buddhism belief,as the main force of Tibetan Buddhism development,they are influenced by modernization and secularization in the modernization of Tibetan society;Secondly,the towns studied in this paper are multi-ethnic towns with complex ethnic structures,diverse beliefs,and mutual influence and integration among ethnic groups.Moreover,Labrang Monastery,as a Tibetan Buddhist temple,contains precious historical and cultural information that is the cultural carrier of Tibetan Buddhism.Labrang Monastery has a profound influence on the believers in Labrang town and the believers have a profound influence on Labrang Monastery.From these three aspects,we study the current situation of the specific beliefs of monks and believers after the secularization of Labrang town,as well as the reasons for these changes and the specific factors affecting secularization compared with history.Therefore,studying the status of Tibetan Buddhist beliefs in Labrang Town is of great significance for analyzing the secularization of Tibetan Buddhism in the area.From September 2017 to November 2018,the author went to Labrang Town for nearly a month's field research.For the example of Labrang Town where Labrang Monastery is located,the Tibetan Buddhist beliefs in the multi-ethnic town of Labrang Town are investigated and studied.After systematic analysis,the reasons for its secularization were discussed.It provides a theoretical basis for the development of society and the development of national religious culture under the process of modernization.
