Based on the English syllabus of secondary vocational schools,the secondary vocational schools should cultivate students' English communicative competence and application ability.In the author's school,the English for Special Purposes course which corresponds to the future work scene is offered for the freshmen of some majors,these freshmen need not learn basic English,just like the civil aviation students.Based on this phenomenon,this study uses the questionnaire survey method to study students' learning motivation of the English for Special Purposes at the secondary vocational school,chooses students with different English foundations to observe and cultivate,through the pre-class test and the post-class test to observe the student's learning outcomes,There is a clear correlation between the learning motivation of learning civil aviation English and post-class test scores,and then through data comparison analysis and case analysis to conclude that the main motivation for secondary vocational students to learn the English for Special Purposes course is employment.With this motivation driven,the learning outcomes of students are reflected.Through this study,it can be seen that students of secondary vocational schools are able to actively study courses related to future careers driven by employment motivation.Therefore,secondary vocational schools should consider the students' future employment problems in the curriculum setting process.The schools should offer courses of English for special purposes in other majors to improve the learning outcomes of the secondary vocational students,promote student employment,and deliver more talents to the society.
