In this paper,Rembrandt's oil paintings are divided into three parts in chronological order: early, middle and late stages for comparative study. His early works adopted a strong contrast between light and shade, shaping shape with light and shadow, the picture is delicate, dramatic, and the texture of the picture is relatively smooth. The medium-term works are magnificent, exquisite and gorgeous, mature and complete, and the texture of the picture begins to highlight. Most of the later works directly use the oil painting language of texture.Rembrandt's paintings in his later years are more for expressing his own emotions, purely for catharsis,to show his own heart,to show his personal life experience in the picture, through the strong texture of the picture can more directly express his inner feelings.Through the study of the oil painting language texture in Rembrandt's oil paintings, the deep understanding of the oil painting texture plays a profound role in strengthening emotional expression, conveying the painter's ideas, and clarifying the artistic pursuit.
