A Study On The Relationship Between "Distinction" And "Time" In Narrative Comics

The development of comics is accompanied by the rise of the publishing and printing industry.From single caricatures to today's long narrative comics,the transformation of comics means that the lifestyle,reading habits and cultural environment of human beings have been changing for nearly a hundred years.Since its birth,comics have been inextricably linked to narratives.In the creation of modern narrative comics,the "time" control of the cartoonist has a great influence on the fluency and rhythm of the comic narrative.There are too many skill books on the market,relying on the cartoonist's own experience,lack of systematic comic theory support,easy to form a wrong thinking guide for newcomers.In narrative cartoons,"dividing" is the basic narrative unit of comics,and time is the basic element of narrative.In the world of comics,time and space are the same,and cartoonists can change the direction and length of time by folding space.The division determines what time the reader should see and what space to see.This paper deconstructs the application form of "dividing" in narrative cartoons,explores the meaning of "division" and "time" in comics,sorts out the relationship between the two and the way they affect each other,and demonstrates "time" The "dividing" is the way in which the cartoonist communicates with the reader in the creation,aiming at forming the theoretical basis of the comic creation and guiding the creation of the cartoonist.
