As a new form of teaching,remote interactive Chinese teaching provides the convenience in time and space for both teachers and students.At present,more and more Chinese language workers are beginning to try remote interactive Chinese teaching in order to meet the maximum learning needs with the minimum teaching resources and promote the development of Chinese language and culture teaching.The purpose of this paper is to record and analyze the development of the first remote interactive Chinese language teaching at the Confucius Institute at Wayne State University,and to propose some suggestions for improvement.The author hopes to provide some ideas and suggestions for the future teaching activities of the Confucius Institute by summarizing the existing experience,and also make a modest contribution to the Chinese international promotion.This paper first introduces the research status of remote interactive teaching by domestic and foreign scholars by collecting relevant materials.The background and preliminary preparations for the remote interactive classroom at the Confucius Institute at Wayne State University were recorded,as well as the teaching experience gained from interviews with existing distance learning institutions.Then it introduces the specific teaching methods,resources,content,evaluation and language and culture teaching of distance teaching in Confucius Institute,and analyzes the classroom management experience of the author's distance learning.Finally,the problems existing in interactive equipment,teaching materials,teacher training,online learning resources,and target language environment are elaborated and corresponding improvement suggestions are put forward.
