Zhang Juzheng(1525-1582),a famous politician in Ming Dynasty,was born in Jiangling,Hubei Province.He experienced three dynasties: Jiajing,Longqing and Wanli.His handed down works include six volumes of poetry and twenty-nine volumes of prose.His poems are rich in content and diverse in style,but seldom paid attention to.This paper is divided into five chapters,discussing Zhang Juzheng's literary exchanges,political poetry,other poetry,artistic characteristics and poetry influence,and discussing his poetry comprehensively and systematically.Chapter one makes a textual research on Zhang Juzheng's literary communication.Zhang Juquan travels extensively.His literary contacts include celebrities in Jiangling,Hubei Province,officials in Beijing,predecessors in political and literary circles,teachers,friends and relatives,etc.The main ways of contacts are poetry singing and giving and answering.Among them,Zhu Xianzhao,Cao Xin,Luo Hongxian and Li Youzi sang and sang poems with Zhang Juzheng more frequently.Most of the communication periods were from the thirty-third year of Jiajing(1554)to the thirty-sixth year of Jiajing(1557)when Zhang Juzheng returned to Xiujiang Ling.The second chapter discusses Zhang Juzheng's political poems.According to the ideological theme of Zhang Juzheng's political poems,this paper is divided into four parts: one is political lyrics,which includes expressing resentment toward ministers when they are not ambitious,and the other is expressing loyalty to the court when they are politically successful.Second,political poems,mostly aimed at real politics,expose social contradictions and express political opinions through poems.The third is the war poem,which expresses the content of martial inspection,diplomatic frontier defense,resistance to foreign nationalities and so on,and pours into the wish of enriching the country and strengthening the army.Fourthly,eulogizing the virtues of Empress Dowager and Empress Dowager is flattering and grateful to the ruler for granting great power.Chapter three classifies Zhang Juzheng's political poems and other poems.According to the theme,it can be divided into four parts: one is the poems on paintings.Zhang Juzheng prefers the poems on horses to eulogize the Royal saints,and also expresses his personal interest in life through some poems on paintings.The second is Ji You's poems,mostly written in Jiajing's thirty-three years(1554)to Jiajing's thirty-six years(1557)on vacation trip,of which Hengshan's poems are more.Three is homesickness poem,Zhang Juzhengyou likes to use autumn scenery description of thecapital to express the thoughts of relatives and friends in his hometown.Fourthly,the poems of mourning,written by Gu Shi in memory of his former partner,show the deep memory of his deceased companion.These lyric poems reflect the true character of a generation of politicians.Chapter four discusses the artistic features of Zhang Juzheng's poetry.It is divided into four aspects: First,the artistic conception of image,Zhang Juzheng prefers the artifacts which can reflect the status of power,and the elegant and beautiful images are processed by poets to construct a beautiful and rich artistic conception.Second,the use of allusions,Zhang Juzheng preferred the "Book of Songs","Chuci" and the Tang Dynasty poets such as Li Du's poetry dictionaries,but also flexible use of allusions,from the whole to enhance the style of poetry.Third,the analysis of language characteristics,Zhang Juzheng's poems are gorgeous,elegant and gorgeous,and good at using reduplicated words to harmonize the rhythm of poetry.Fourth,artistic style,most of Zhang Juzheng's poems are magnificent and elegant,showing a solemn and elegant style.Scenery poems blend into personal interest and do not deliberately pursue gracefulness and richness,they appear fresh and natural.Otherwise,the attitude of poetry to the political situation shows an implicit and melancholy style.The fifth chapter is the study of the influence of Zhang Juzheng's poetry.Firstly,starting with the selected poems of Ming and Qing Dynasties,the types of Zhang Juzheng's poems in the selected poems are counted.Most of the large collections of poems are official compilations,and the magnificent and elegant odes of Zhang Juzheng meet the criteria,so they are selected more frequently.Secondly,starting with poem commentary materials,literati notes and poem remarks in Ming and Qing Dynasties,critics tend to associate Zhang Juzheng's poems with his achievements,and do not regard Zhang Juzheng as a pure poet.Therefore,Zhang Juzheng's influence in the history of poetry is not profound.
