Zhang Juzheng political reform is a major event in the Ming Dynasty. The Reformcompletely changed the fate of a dying empire. Judging from the point of view ofjurisprudence, the reformer caught the principal contradiction of the late Ming Chinese society,with implementation of the new law, the state complete change. Zhang’s political reformideology generated in feudal society, but it validated "the law must base on the society" thebasic principles of modern jurisprudence. The premise of full respect for the history ofin-depth analysis of the causes and consequences of Zhang’s political reform, trying to exploreZhang’s political reform ideology, thus revealing the reasons for determining the success orfailure of the political reform activities.The first part, show the pre-reform late Ming society, analysis of the principalcontradiction in the late Ming society, to explore the motivations of the political reform.The second part, analyze Zhang "Act changed the system unchanged" Reform logic.The third part, explore the purpose of the political reform of Zhang.The fourth part, comprehensive grasp the specific measures of political reform.The fifth part, analyze the reasons for the failure of political reform.Concluded that the above analysis, Zhang’s political reform maximize meet the people’sexpectations for the government, the late Ming society back to a healthy development track,to the top-level design based on social realities. This is to ensure that the political reformsuccess the key. But in feudal society, all political activities must be for the purpose ofmaintenance of the rule of the monarch. Zhang strong implementation of political reformthrough centralization means, to some extent, has been a threat to the absolute authority of themonarch. Thus, the liquidation will inevitably come.
